Welcome to Therapeutic Activities Group CIC

Therapeutic Activities Group CIC, are a Community Interest Company and Social Enterprise who strive to improve the physical, emotional, educational and social wellbeing of young adults and children in the community.
We at TAG facilitate Specialised Trauma Informed Therapeutic Interventions.  The trauma recovery model underpins our engagement techniques by promoting positive engagement and companionship and ultimately positive change.
We have has successfully worked with young people with complex and or traumatic backgrounds across South Wales, with those who display social, emotional or behavioural difficulties or those who just need a little guidance or additional support.
Our sessions are fun, young people enjoy and look forward to sessions, we build trusting bonds and are able to question and improve behaviours and attitudes.  We create a landscape for growth.  But most importantly, we listen.

We strive to support young people in several ways, including;

  • Increased self-confidence, self-esteem and resilience
  • Reduction in Anxiety and Stress
  • Develop positive attachment and trust
  • Aid in emotional, cognitive, behavioural, educational and social development
  • Increase general fitness and wellbeing
  • Develop structure and routine
  • Improve positive engagement, behaviour and responsibility
  • Reduce loneliness, isolation and depression
  • Support in recovery from any experienced trauma

Our provisions encourage exercise, play, but above all rapport building and are only limited by our creativity.  We set the standard for Specialised Trauma Informed Therapeutic Interventions, we break the mould.
